Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, has partnered with Salesforce, a global leader in CRM, to help customers in the manufacturing and semiconductor industries leverage artificial intelligence (AI). The collaboration has led to the launch of three initiatives: Semiconductor Sales Accelerator, Seller for the Future, and Digital Field Service.

The Semiconductor Sales Accelerator addresses the need to quickly and accurately navigate complex technical data in the semiconductor industry. It combines TCS’ domain expertise with Salesforce’s leading AI and cloud capabilities to equip sales teams with real-time insights and AI-powered recommendations. This can lead to accelerated sales cycles, improved win rates, and enhanced customer experience.

The Seller for the Future initiative empowers sales teams with a 360-degree view of customer data, providing near real-time insights, predictive analytics, and personalized recommendations within the Salesforce platform. This helps sales teams anticipate customer needs, identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and close more deals faster, driving higher revenue growth.

The Digital Field Service initiative transforms field service operations by leveraging AI, the Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning to equip technicians with real-time information, predictive maintenance insights, and optimized scheduling. This reduces downtime and maintenance costs, improves first-time fix rates, increases technician productivity, and enhances customer satisfaction.

Indira Gillingham, Vice President of Alliances at Salesforce, emphasized the excitement of this collaboration, which combines TCS’ industry expertise, deep knowledge of complex data landscapes, and the power of Salesforce’s leading CRM capabilities. Prashant Shirgur, Global Head of Enterprise Solutions for Technology, Software, and Services at TCS, highlighted the importance of providing accurate, real-time information for sales success in the semiconductor industry.

Amit Bajaj, Salesforce Global Practice Head, Enterprise Solutions at TCS, underscored the organization’s commitment to empowering industries with digital tools to thrive in the dynamic market. This announcement reinforces TCS’ strong presence in North America, with over 46,000 associates and 32 sales, delivery, and data center locations.
