Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance has launched a new budget-friendly phone, JioBharat K1 Karbonn 4G, priced at just Rs 699. The phone is available in two color options – Black & Grey and Black & Red, with the Black and Grey variant available for Rs 699. The phone can be purchased from JioMart’s website and Amazon.
The JioBharat J1 4G features a 2.8-inch display, supports HD calling, UPI payments via JioMoney, and access to OTT services like Jio Cinema. It has a removable 2,500mAh battery, 3.5mm audio jack, 0.3MP camera, and expandable storage of up to 128GB. The phone is also Jio SIM-locked, meaning users must insert a Jio SIM card to use it.
The phone comes preloaded with Jio apps, including JioPay for UPI payments, and supports 4G VoLTE. It also supports 23 Indian languages, making it a popular option for a diverse user base.
To complement the phone, Reliance offers three recharge plans:
* The most affordable plan is Rs 123, providing 0.5GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and 300 SMS with a validity of 28 days.
* The Rs 234 plan offers 0.5GB of daily data, free calling, and 300 SMS for 56 days.
* The long-validity plan is priced at Rs 1234 and provides 0.5GB of high-speed data per day, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS for 336 days.
All three plans come with free access to JioSaavn, JioTV, and JioCinema. The phone is a great option for those who want a budget-friendly phone with basic features and affordable data plans from Reliance.
