Ahead of National Apprenticeship Week, Bosch Mobility Aftermarket shared details of their investment in its Automotive Apprenticeship program, aiming to contribute to addressing a projected shortage in the UK automotive sector.
Research by the Institute of Motor Industry (IMI) estimated a shortfall of 160,000 people within the sector by 2031 and an addition 48,000 technicians necessitated within ten years. Such an investment was vital to preserve the sector in its entirety despite growing challenges on hand.
