The five-year deal aims to transform Etihad’s technological framework, modernizing legacy systems and optimizing costs. Wipro will lead the overhaul of Etihad’s IT infrastructure, using its proprietary FullStride Cloud platform to provide real-time insights and enhance operational efficiency.
The project will also feature Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) modules, which will automate data centers, offer conversational AI support, and provide intelligent device management. The GenAI tools will proactively identify and resolve potential disruptions, ensuring seamless operations and optimized performance. This collaboration will also grant Etihad access to Wipro’s Innovation Lab in the UAE, a hub for advanced technology solutions.
This strategic win for Wipro solidifies its reputation as a global leader in IT services, with a market capitalization of Rs 3.24 lakh crore. The company has been operating in the Middle East for over two decades and has more than 1,000 employees in the region.
