Bosch, a well-known automotive brand, has recently proposed a vehicle management method for preventing sudden cold waves before long-distance driving during the Lunar New Year holiday in Korea. According to Bosch, drivers should ensure that their vehicle is properly prepared for winter conditions, which are characterized by frequent surprise cold waves and heavy snow.

The company recommends that drivers check and replace their wiper blades, air conditioner and heater filters, and batteries before embarking on a long-distance drive. This is especially important for vehicles that have not been driven for a long time, as they may experience issues due to cold weather or heavy snow.

Bosch also stresses the importance of checking the wiper blades’ condition and function, as the weight of snow can cause them to deform, leading to poor visibility and increased risk of accidents. The company recommends replacing the wiper blades every six months to a year, or as needed.

Regarding air conditioner and heater filters, Bosch advises checking and replacing them after an average year or 10,000 to 15,000 kilometers of operation. This is particularly important in winter, as it helps to maintain indoor air quality and prevent allergies.

Finally, Bosch emphasizes the importance of maintaining a healthy battery by inspecting it every two to three years and replacing it if necessary. This is crucial in winter, as low temperatures can reduce the battery’s capacity and increase its consumption.

In addition to providing these recommendations, Bosch is also offering a special discount on its wiper products at Homeplus stores until February 6.

Overall, Bosch’s vehicle management method is designed to help drivers prepare their vehicles for winter conditions and ensure a safe and enjoyable drive during the Lunar New Year holiday.
