Bosch has unveiled its Revol smart crib at CES 2025, featuring a range of sensors and AI technology to monitor and care for babies. The crib has a millimeter wave sensor to track a baby’s heart rate and respiration, as well as a camera and motor to soothe the baby. It also includes a VOC sensor to detect when a baby needs a diaper change, temperature and humidity sensors, and a particle sensor to measure air quality. The data is accessible via an app, allowing parents to monitor their baby’s health and safety remotely. The AI-powered system can analyze footage to detect potential hazards, such as a baby’s face being covered by a blanket, and track the quality of sleep. While there is no availability or pricing information yet, the Revol smart crib is expected to be launched in the China market first.
