South Africa has selected uncapped fast bowler Glenton Bosch for the upcoming Test series against Pakistan. Bosch, 24, has been included in the 15-man squad announced by Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Wednesday. The selection comes as a surprise, as Bosch has not played any first-class cricket in the past year. However, he has impressed in the CSA’s domestic competition, taking 24 wickets in 10 matches for the Western Province team.

Bosch’s selection is seen as a bold move by CSA, who are looking to inject some fresh talent into the team. The Proteas have struggled with their bowling attack in recent times, and Bosch’s inclusion could provide a much-needed boost. The Test series against Pakistan will be a crucial one for South Africa, who are looking to regain their status as one of the top teams in the world. The first Test is scheduled to take place on December 26 at the SuperSport Park in Centurion.
