South Africa has called up uncapped fast bowler Beuran Bosch to their Test squad for the upcoming series against Pakistan. Bosch, 27, has been included in the 15-man squad as a replacement for injured fast bowler Lungi Ngidi. The series will take place in December and January, with the first Test scheduled to start on December 26. Bosch has played 64 first-class matches for the Cape Cobras and Western Province, taking 134 wickets at an average of 24.15. He has also represented South Africa in List A and T20 cricket, taking 22 wickets in 14 matches. Bosch’s selection is seen as a reward for his consistent performances in domestic cricket, and he is expected to provide pace and depth to the South African bowling attack. The squad will be led by captain Faf du Plessis, with Quinton de Kock and Hashim Amla also included in the squad.
