The Bosch Tech Compass Survey 2025 has revealed that India is emerging as a leader in artificial intelligence (AI) education, with over 50% of its population actively self-educating in AI-related skills. The report highlights India’s readiness to adopt AI in work, education, and daily life, making it a frontrunner in the AI revolution. Additionally, 57% of Indians receive AI training from their employers, exceeding European countries like Germany. The survey also reveals that 63% of Indians believe AI should be a standalone subject in schools, and 60% expect the government to spearhead AI education initiatives.

India’s optimism about AI adoption remains high, with 84% believing it will make the world a better place. However, concerns over job displacement, plagiarism, and social inequality persist. A significant 86% of respondents demand binding codes of conduct for ethical AI usage in corporations. The survey also reveals India’s imaginative outlook on AI’s potential, with 68% believing AI could win a Nobel Prize, 76% envisioning AI-controlled robots breaking world records, and 72% seeing AI solving political conflicts in the future. Overall, India’s proactive approach to AI education and training positions the country as a leader in the global AI landscape.
