Tata Steel Discovers the Future of Handball and Futsal with State-of-the-Art Training Facilities

Tata Steel has upgraded its JRD Tata Sports Complex with state-of-the-art futsal and handball facilities. The ceremony was led by Vice President of Corporate Services, Chanakya Chaudhary, and attended by several officials, including Tata Workers Union President Sanjeev Choudhary and Chief Sports Officer Mukul Vinayak Choudhari. The futsal court features a 40x25m playing area with FIFA-approved synthetic turf, while the handball facility measures 43.92×24.45m with an Australian-made acrylic surface that can support multiple sports like tennis and basketball. The new facilities aim to upgrade the city’s sports infrastructure and provide training opportunities for aspiring athletes. The renovation marks a significant development in the region’s sports landscape, offering a boost to local sports and athletic development.
