Bosch is showcasing its AI-enabled bassinet, Revol, at CES 2025, which can track a wide range of data about a baby’s health and environment. The bassinet features a live video feed, millimeter wave radar sensor to measure heart rate and respiration, temperature and humidity sensors, and a particle meter to measure air quality. It also uses computer vision to detect objects near the baby’s face and alert parents to potential dangers. The Revol can move vertically, similar to a tiny elevator, and has automated movements to soothe a sleeping baby. The device is not yet available, with a planned launch in China in 2026 and the US in 2027, pending compliance with US laws and regulations. The price is expected to be around $1200, with additional add-ons available to convert the crib into a changing table and desk. While the features are impressive, the Revol’s high price may be a barrier for some parents.
