The 13th Annual Flower and Vegetable Show, hosted by Tata Steel West Bokaro Division, was inaugurated on January 3, 2025, at the Tata Steel Sports Complex, West Bokaro. The three-day event features 54 stalls representing various institutions, vendors, and schools, as well as 7 food stalls. The exhibition showcases a diverse display of flowers, vegetables, and plants, and offers engaging activities like sand painting, rangoli, and art competitions. Cultural performances showcasing Jharkhand’s rich heritage will also be featured. The event aims to raise awareness about energy conservation and global warming, with schoolchildren participating in discussions on these issues. Senior officials from Tata Steel, union leaders, employees, and local community members attended the event. D.B. Sundara Ramam, Vice President of Raw Materials at Tata Steel, emphasized the importance of upholding nature’s lessons and enhancing the quality of life for future generations. The event will conclude on January 5, 2025.
