Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) celebrated the New Year 2025 with the Mankadia communities of the Sukinda region in Odisha. The foundation organized a cake-cutting ceremony and cultural events in the Kalarangiata village, which is part of the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). Around 200 tribals, including 100 children, participated in the festivities. Senior officials from Tata Steel, including Pankaj Satija, Shambhunath Jha, and Pramod Kumar, also participated in the event and engaged in fun activities with the community. Satija wished the community a happy and safe New Year, emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural traditions while embracing modern opportunities. The event was part of Tata Steel’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusive development and foster strong bonds with local communities, including PVTGs, in the region.
