Bosch, a German engineering and technology company, has taken delivery of a new Bombardier Challenger 3500 aircraft. The plane, registered as HB-JLE and msn 21040, was ferried from Montreal’s Trudeau airport to Stuttgart’s Rommel airport in Germany on December 19, 2024. It will be operated by Scintilla AG, Bosch’s fully owned subsidiary in Switzerland. This brings the company’s corporate fleet of Bombardier aircraft to three, with additional Challenger 605 and Challenger 650 models also registered and operated by Scintilla AG in Switzerland. The Swiss division of Bosch does not hold an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC), indicating that it relies on an existing charter operator or flies on behalf of its subsidiaries’ registered aircraft, likely Scintilla AG or another affiliate, for its commercial travel needs. The Challenger 3500 provides the company’s executives with high-quality corporate transportation and networking capabilities.
