Veer Ahlawat nails Tata Steel Tour Championship glory in Jamshedpur following a thrilling playoff victory against Amardeep Malik.

Veer Ahlawat, a 28-year-old golfer from Gurugram, won the 2024 TATA Steel Tour Championship, an INR 3 crore event, with a total score of 17-under 267. His victory earned him a cheque of INR 45 lakh, taking his season’s earnings to a record-breaking INR 1,56,35,724. Ahlawat sealed the number one spot in the TATA Steel PGTI Ranking and has earned a card on the DP World Tour for the 2025 season. He won two titles and had seven other top-10 finishes this season, making him the second player to breach the INR 1 crore mark in season’s earnings on the PGTI.
