Tata Power hosted the National Urja Mela 2024, a program that brought together over 1,000 students and teachers from 150 schools across 10 states to focus on energy conservation and green innovation. The event, organized under Tata Power’s Club Enerji program, aimed to engage youth in promoting sustainability and clean energy practices. The event featured competitions, workshops, and cultural performances designed to encourage participants to adopt eco-friendly practices. The event also included a showcase of eco-friendly products crafted by women artisans and a tribute to the late Shri Ratan Tata. The CEO of Tata Power-DDL, Gajanan S. Kale, emphasized that the event aims to educate and empower students to become proactive leaders in their communities, promoting sustainable practices and resource conservation.
