HCL Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of HCLTech, hosted the My E-Haat Conclave 2024 at the National Crafts Museum in New Delhi. The event focused on reviving the craft economy and ensuring sustainable livelihoods for artisans through access to global markets. The conclave featured two key panels: Craft Entrepreneurship and Incubation, which discussed strategies for scaling enterprises, and Innovation and Technology Intervention, which focused on using technology to enhance productivity and market reach. The event aimed to bring together key stakeholders to create sustainable pathways for artisans, foster collaborations, and provide policy recommendations. Dr. Nidhi Pundhir, Senior Vice President of Global CSR, HCL Foundation, emphasized the importance of reviving the craft sector, which employs over 7 million artisans and 35,000 unique products. The event aimed to empower artisans to meet global demand and share their traditions with the world.
