The success of their Motorcycle Stability Control system, launched in 2013, demonstrates that the industry and consumers voluntarily seek safety innovations. Liersch believes that with good features and functions, people will buy them without need for legal obligations. Bosch’s goal is to spread their technologies, and if mandatory implementation is considered, they are happy to comply. However, if not, they will still release the features on the market, focusing on spreading safety technologies voluntarily.
