Bosch, a leading automotive technology company, has announced that it has shipped over 100 million units of millimeter-wave radar globally, with over 30 million of those units being shipped to the Chinese market. The company introduced its fourth-generation millimeter-wave radar to China in 2014, which was the first to be used in Geely vehicles for automatic emergency braking systems. Since then, Bosch has continued to innovate and iterate on its radar technology, launching its sixth-generation millimeter-wave radar, which features significant advancements in resolution, long-distance target detection, and object detection. The radar also supports varied vehicle architectures and provides rich point cloud and target data, supporting autonomous driving scenarios up to SAE Level 3. Bosch has partnered with over 55 global automakers and has contributed to over 290 production models currently on the market.
