The Tata Steel Foundation, in partnership with the Jaipur Foot Organisation, concluded a three-day Artificial Limbs Distribution Camp in Sukinda, Odisha. The camp, held to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, provided customized artificial limbs to 38 individuals from rural and tribal communities. The event aimed to enable inclusivity and accessibility for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and empower them to lead independent and fulfilling lives. The Jaipur Foot team conducted precise measurements and fittings to ensure each prosthetic met the specific needs of its recipient. The initiative highlights Tata Steel Foundation’s dedication to creating an inclusive society where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. The collaboration between the two organizations demonstrates a commitment to uplifting underserved communities and promoting meaningful societal change.
