Village Capital and Standard Chartered have expanded their partnership to accelerate women-led tech solutions in the US. The partnership, which was initially launched in 2018, aims to support and fund innovative businesses led by women entrepreneurs in the tech industry. Through this partnership, Village Capital will identify and mentor 10-15 women-led startups, providing them with access to funding, networks, and expertise to help them scale their businesses.

The partnership will also focus on addressing specific societal challenges, such as economic inequality, healthcare, education, and financial inclusion, through the development of solutions that leverage technology and innovation. Additionally, Standard Chartered will provide access to its banking services, expertise, and networks to support the growth of the selected startups.

The partnership aims to promote diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, while also addressing pressing social challenges. By supporting women-led startups, the partnership can help create more opportunities for women to participate in the tech industry and drive meaningful social impact.
