Alliance Air has announced that it will start operating two weekly flights between Guwahati and Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh, starting from December 3. The flights will depart from Guwahati on Mondays and Wednesdays and will take approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete. The airline aims to boost tourism in the region, making it easier for business and leisure travelers to visit Ziro’s picturesque landscapes. The flights will also provide quicker access to specialized medical care for residents of Ziro, allowing them to reach larger cities in a shorter time for treatment. The deputy commissioner of Lower Subansiri, Vivek HP, stated that the new direct flights will have a significant impact on tourism and healthcare access in the region.
