Archaeological site in Samoa reveals a rise in hierarchical society

A new study has found the construction of a large archaeological site in Samoa began approximately 900 – 600 years ago, and signifies the rise of a hierarchical society.Located in Falefa valley on Samoa’s main island of Upolu the complex has been called a rare find.
